Alex went to school at Harvard for undergraduate studies, and then received a Teaching License in 2010 from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Born and raised in Taiwan until he was 12, Alex struggled in English but managed to gain 500 points on the SAT within 10 months of studying. Alex was a Teaching Assistant at Harvard for 6 years. He taught 8 courses, and was appointed by the professor to be the Head Teaching Assistant for a Computer Science course at Harvard. At Harvard, he founded the Harvard Club Lacrosse Team in 2007, was the President for the Magic Club in 2009, and became the President for Harvard's Taiwanese Cultural Society in 2010. Now, outside of Ivy-Way work, Alex dances in 3 different hip-hop and break dancing crews in Boston, surfs in Taiwan, plays piano, and sings.
